Haddock Howitzer#

The howitzer accepts the enchantments in its own list, at the same ease of enchanting as a bow. A shot counts as an arrow for these, so they work as they do on a bow.

  • Power adds damage to every shot, to the splash and to the element's effects, and to the brake's beam.
  • Punch knocks targets back further.
  • Flame lights the fish, and what it hits burns.
  • Multishot fires extra fish in a fan for the cost of one fish and one shot's FE. Only the middle fish is real: the others can't be picked up or returned.
  • Quick Charge shortens the power-up.
  • Homing Instinct, levels I to III, makes the fish sometimes swim back to you after a hit.

Infinity is left out. Fish are cheap and an Ecotone makes them in bulk, and Homing Instinct takes its place.

Homing Instinct#

You find it in the enchanting table. After a hit, the fish may swim back to you, through blocks, and a higher level returns it more often. It tucks itself into a Tackle Satchel with room, else your inventory, else lands at your feet. If you are far away or gone, it drops where it is. In creative it comes back without adding a fish.

Kingfish Katana#

The katana counts as a sword, so it takes everything a sword does: Sharpness, Smite, Bane of Arthropods, Fire Aspect, Looting, Knockback, Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking and Mending. Damage enchantments and Fire Aspect apply to lunge cuts and Extendable Blade attacks too. It has no repair material, so Mending, Unbreaking and the anvil are how you keep it going.
