Machine Chassis

The framework every Enthalpy machine is built around, and the structure block of the Ecotone.

What it does#

The Machine Chassis does two jobs. It is the central ingredient of almost every machine, so you craft a few early and keep a stack by you. It is also a structure block: three of them go beside an Ecotone controller to form its top layer.

In an Ecotone#

An Ecotone is a 2 by 2 by 2 structure: the controller and three Machine Chassis on top, with four glass blocks under them for the tank. Once the structure forms, the Chassis blocks change look to match the controller, and items, water and FE can go in and out through them as well as through the controller. Set those ports with a Calibration Tablet. The Ecotone page has the full build.
